Welcome to the Terrestrial gallery.

These photos were taken with telephoto lens without being connected to any dedicated telescope. The star clusters took 20 minutes exposure to register. The atmospheric noise thus came into play. To capture the detail on the moon, the camera has to be underexposed keeping the aperture moderately narrow and minimal ISO to avoid noise. An example of how graduated filter creates the difference in minimizing the effect of street light when trying to capture terrestrial objects can be seen in the couple of photographs.
