Wild birds' photography is a difficult prospect in the sense that they are sensitive and not much tolerant of human presence. Therefore, telephoto lens is the great option. They have much sharper eyesight than us and the approaching photographer is never out of their sight . It is imperative to keep them at ease while taking the shot with non-threatening body language and demeanor. Not making eye contact calms their nerves rendering ample time for a close up.
